The Crown Chakra is located on top of the head, hence the name crown. When off balance, it has a tendency to show up as depression, inability to learn, rigid thoughts on religion, constant confusion and a fear of alienation. When in balance, we live in the now with a strong trust in our inner guidance. Here’s how you can balance your Crown Chakra.

The crown chakra benefits from the following six crystals: amethyst, white calcite, selenite, obsidian, clear quartz & sugilite. I’ll talk about the different ways to use crystals in a separate post, but just having them around is helpful, and holding them during meditation is even better.
The crown chakra is much more spiritual than physical like the other chakras. There are no real nutrition benefits, but prayer, meditation, and fasting have been shown to help. Consider going on a cleanse, detox or fast.
A mudra is a hand position, used for meditation. The mudra for the crown chakra is the Akash and involves touching the tip of the middle finger with that of the thumb. Keep the other fingers straight, as shown below.
Yoga is a fantastic way to help balance your chakras. The poses that best help the crown chakra are the lotus pose, headstand, corpse pose, fish pose & tree pose.
I’m doing an entire post on reflexology, but basically rubbing, pressing or poking different areas of the body can affect other areas. For the crown chakra, the tips of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd fingers, as well as the end areas of the bottom surface of the big toe, are the best areas.
