The third eye chakra is located in the middle of the eyebrows. When off balance, there may be moodiness, daydreaming and overall distrust. When in balance, you’ll feel a deep spiritual connection, strong morality and can easily determine between truth and illusion.

The crystals that most positively affect the third eye chakra are lapis lazuli, indigo, sodalite, sapphire, azurite, celestite and blue aventurine. Use them in yoga, meditation or just keep them around.
The color that follows the third eye chakra is purple, so any purple foods will be good for your third eye chakra. Figs, grapes, raisins, blackberries, prunes, eggplants, purple cabbage and purple potatoes are the best foods for the third eye chakra.
A mudra is a hand position, used for meditation. The mudra for the third eye chakra requires hands-on lower part of the breast, middle fingers straight and tops touching. Other fingers are bent and the thumbs point towards you.
Yoga is a fantastic way to help balance your chakras. The poses that best help the third eye chakra are thunderbolt, downward dog, low lunge, and child pose.
I’m doing an entire post on reflexology, but basically rubbing, pressing or poking different areas of the body can affect other areas. For this chakra, these parts are the middle segments of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd fingers and the end segment of the 4th finger, as well as the central areas of the bottom of the big toe.
